My wifes Trailblazer's shifter moves and feels like its going to come off if I pull on it too hard. I can move the handle about 1/8" or so in a couple of directions. But this doesn't have any affect on the shifting from "P, R, N, D," or whatever. I think this will be the same thing for Camaro. Check sig, I have an Auto coming in the next couple of weeks (end of the month) I think. I don't think it's going to be an issue.

Any other thoughts?????

They are on vibration dampening mounts just like the engine. It's normal for the type of powertrain. Fwd vehicles there is nothing there that's old school.

You won't need a heater in the winter the AT Tranny will keep U warm.

Hehe, if you think the auto moves, you should see the manual.

I wouldnt worry about this... in my current GM car I have the same "problem". That cars 9 years old and nothing ever happened as a result of it, it's just the way it is.
