I had a Grand Marquis before the Camaro.
It had a warning light and a gong that went off every few minutes for low washer fluid.........very annoying.

I just looked back through and found no information on a windshield washer fluid warning light.

All luxury cars except the GTO.

As I recall, the G8 had such an indicator, but that was the first and last I've noticed one, even in GM cars.

My guess was simply that too many customers either didn't even know they had one or didn't really care too much. And you want to spend your $$ were not only the customer notices, but gives you credit for doing so.

But I can see why you'd like it. I know on salty roads in Michigan it came in handy on the G8 to simply know at the gas stop to grab a gallon of fluid.

Well, it's hard for me to imagine a little float sensor would cost more than a few dollars per car, it's not that big a deal either. It does annoy me though that the first I know of the washer fluid being low is when I go to use it and there is not enough pressure to work

It would be super sweet if the Camaros had a low level indicator and you were using the stock washer bottle for a water/meth injection kit.

Umm. Fill it up when you check your oil once a week??? Its not that hard unless you dont check your oil and need a light for that?? And yea. Pretty much all GMs have a low washer fluid light. Hell even malibous and older impalas have them. GM cheaped out on this car in many ways.

My 99 Silverado has one. I'm going to have to rig one up somehow. I use my washer reservoir for methanol. Sucks to run out

lol this thread is so jacked up.

I threw my washer reservoir out when I installed the apex scoop. My car gets a bath about every week so no need for the fluid.

Sounds like the California Central Valley (San Joaquin Valley). I was stationed in Lemoore CA when I owned my first 4th Gen 95 Z28... my god, the bugs, the bugs! It was a true massacre during the warm seasons... and my Z28 wore it like it just came out of a battlefield...

As for a light telling me I'm out of wiper fluid?
