Tire wear

Okay I have a 2011 wit 15,500 miles and it seems to me the back tire is already going bald and I don't do burnouts

I remember I bought a new camaro in 1991 and the tires had no tread left at 18000 miles. That car didn't have enough horsepower to do burnouts.

The stock P-Zeros really only have a lifespan of 15k miles.

With me my SS has just under 16K and they have another 8-10K before needing new ones. Our LT on the other hand has around 12K and look brand new still.

Sometimes you can haze the tires and not realize it. Your rear quarter panels never lie. LOL!!

I got 23,900 on my rears (just replaced them yesterday...thank you Tire Rack!) and have a lot left on the fronts. I drive mostly highway miles but I do get "spirited" every now and then. I can't imagine why the rears wore out so much faster than the fronts.

I can hear my tires more than I used to, which to me indicates they might be getting pretty far worn. However, by looking at them I'd say they are fine. The appear to have plenty of tread. (I have just hit 18k miles)
