CONGRATS on your ride and far as the wait.....well there are a lot of things that go into that. First, is does your Dealer actually have a ALLOCATION. IF SO, and they actually order the car..... typically you will have a 8-10 week wait until your car arrives at your dealer. now, what you need to do is go back to your dealer and talk to your salesman, ask him for your "ORDER NUMBER" its a six digit alpha/numeric number. Once you have that in hand, you can go to the "ORDER THREAD" and Becky can/will be able to track your car through the production. Here is a list of all the order codes from start to finish, such that when you see what your status is, you will know where it is in the process.

ORDER CODES:
1000 Order On Hold at Dealership
1100 Order Placed at Dealership
1101 Order Entered into System
1102 Order Entered via Web
2000 Order Accepted by Chevrolet
2001 Order Generated to Dealer
2005 Order Replaced with GM Prospec Order
2030 Order Edited by Chevrolet
2050 Order Changed
2500 Order Preferenced (or "Picked Up" or "Imaged"), Sent to Production
3000 Order Accepted by Production Control
3100 Order Available to Sequence (now becomes more stable)
3300 Order Selected and Scheduled for Production by Assembly Plant (Target Production Week usually available now)
3400 Order Broadcasted for Production (Internal Plant Order Produced)
3800 Vehicle Produced
4000 Vehicle Available to Ship
4104 Bailment Invoice Created
4B00 Bayed ("B", not 8)
4106 Bailment Released
4150 Vehicle Invoiced (Dealer Billed)
4200 Vehicle Shipped
4300 Intermediate Delivery
4V03 Estimated Delivery Date
4800 Rail Ramp Unload
5000 Vehicle Delivered to Dealer
6000 Vehicle Delivered to Customer
9000 Order Cancelled

NOW, with that all taken care of.....

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Cool thanks for the welcome
1. I don't have an order number.... That worries me lol
2. Not sure on allocation the specialize in Corvettes and Camaro's so I guess they will be one of the first dealers who get allocations I'll call later to find out

Thanks

In Canada we cannot track by order #, if you have a good saleperson they should keep you updated. Once it is actually produced I can track it by VIN

Congrats on your order and Welcome!! The wait is the hardest part when you order your car. It will be worth the wait when it arrives though! The wait though gives you plenty of time to plan your mods and the identity you want to give your Camaro.
