Do I need to do this on my 2012 2SS?

Should you pull the fuses every few months just for the sake of it?? The pump says 93 but whose to say that's what your always getting.....it's illegal to sell 87 for 93 but accidents do happen.......the state checks once a year or eventually....

Hey guy, I did the fuse pull trick on my 2010 Camaro 2SS LS3 and it did make some improvements. Feels more aggressive, less shake at idle, and better top end power! Definetyly worth a try on any Camaro 5th Gen!

Can you do this if you have a custom tune?

Yes you can , custom tunes also have high and low tables that can suffer from the lock on low table from too much knock from bad gas

Depends on the tune/tuner. For example, DynoSteve/RDP leaves the low octane table intact for safety reasons, so a fuse pull may benefit every once in a while.

Then I came on here read about the fuse pull and went back the next day. Very similar conditions and I ran a 13.08 stone stock right down to the Pirellis I also turned off traction and stability control and used sport mode so it all helped.

I thought I was pretty versed on the whole fuse pull thing but...if you added octane boost to a tank, would it make sense to do a fuse pull and have it map the presumably better than 91 octane in the tank? (91 is the highest in Kalifornia)

If there even is the slightest thought your car is using the low table yes do the fuse pull , you have nothing to lose and only power to gain

I know whenever I did a fuse pull my transmission would shift a little wonky for a few miles.
I don't know if it forces a shift relearn or wipes the data from the ECM, but I definitely notice a transmission difference directly after the fuse pull. I was able to use the fuse pull to manage a 2-3 shift flare problem i used to have.

So I just did this fuse pull as I had been getting what I call backfire for the last year when I decell with my 2ss. I do not get this anymore, even if I didn't get any HP boost. thanks for the post everyone.
