Yes, thanks that is what I need and saw that earlier, the buy it now price is great, but. I think the $72 shipping cost is excessive.

Sorry, sold mine not too long ago. FYI the V6 diffuser is the same as the SS. i sold my to a guy with an SS and it fit perfectly. I made him a good deal $60 Plus shipping, so good luck and hope the info helps.

Thanks, just curious do you remember what the shipping cost was approximately? Does it need to go truck or anything oversized due to its size?

I shipped it from South Texas to Alabama for about $25 using UPS ground. The diffuser itself is not heavy at all just long. It was def. under 5lbs. You'll pay a little more in cost if you ask them to box it up but you also dont want it to get damaged since they'll probably just throw it in the back of the truck. Some padding or paper will help as well in the shipping process. So under $30 should be right for shipping. A new diffuser runs around $120 or so last i heard (dont quote me). So anything close to that is too much.

the v8 diffuser has a bigger opening for the exhaust tips. dont want you to get burned on a v6 if your putting the car back to orginal

I know the exhast pipes are larger on the SS but didnt know if the diffuser exhaust openings were larger as well. The guy i sold my V6 diffuser to installed in on his SS and he said it fit fine. I highly doubt there will be serious issues with this. The plastic is not going to melt.

Thanks for the shipping estimate and SS vs v6 discussion. I do have Corsa exhaust so the tips are larger than stock.

Another question. Someone told me that when these are removed, they have to bend them to get them off if they don't remove with the bumper fascia off and it leaves a blemish mark in the part that is noticeable. did you encounter this and how bad is it damaged?

To be honest im not sure about the blemish marks. I had the dealer remove mine when i installed the GM GFX on mine. I couldnt tell you if they removed the bumper or just the diffuser. I would assume they took off the diffuser without having to remove the whole bumper. There may have been some work to be done to get the diffuser off, or in your case to install it in properly, but I didnt notice any blemishes or scratches on my stock diffuser.

the openings are bigger and the "fins" in the middle are bigger. and it is known for the exhaust to melt the plastic. go here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...elted+diffuser
