Just wondering if any fellow Canadians were able to strike deal with their dealer when you ordered your new Camaro?

MSRP still seems quit high and was just curious if any dealers sold for under MSRP if pushed hard enough. My first 3 cars that I got from the same dealer I did not negotiate anything on the asking price of the vehicle and I paid what they wanted but now I hoping I can negotiate my dream car.

Im look at ordering a 2011 2SS/RS M6 IOM/IOM...wish me luck!

I was too anxious to be the first one on the block last year, but if I was in the market now, I would buy a slightly used one from south of the border. You'll save yourself $15000 easy..... The differences between the 2010, and 2011 are not that great.

When I odered our 2010 SS in January all dealerships (16) were MSRP

soo i ordered from my local dealer.

See them all the time for 30-33k used. Local dealers up here want 47k for the 2 he has. They been on the lots for many months now.

I have a very good relationship with my chevy dealer. Factory ordered and paid below msrp

I got about 1500 off MSRP last September from my dealer. A steal at the time I think. I didn't qualify for any discounts (not that we really had that many to begin with).

I ordered in November 2009, and took possession February 25th, 2010.

Black 2SS/RS with everything except the sunroof = $45.5K all inclusive, including all taxes and delivery.

At the time, an exact equivalent from the United States would have worked out to (including brokerage fees and GST) $43K -$43.5K. That`s without converting the dash to metric...etc. Again, at the time, not worth the pain of getting it from the States. Plus, my Chevy dealer gave me a killer deal on oil changes.

Nowadays, with the exchange rate as it is, it might be worth checking with a broker to see what deals you can get.

got msrp from Addison, but got some goodies thrown in...
and i got student discount and gm card discount also.

$2,345 below MSRP. I think it was a good deal...

Edit: No incentive, no discount.

I put RCLapCar onto my dealer and you can see the result. I ordered during the pre-order period and I paid well below MSRP. A deal like mine really wasn't available anywhere in those early days.

If it makes you feel better, we pay SIGNIFICANTLY more for a car built an hour away from us than someone who is in California across the continent.

I honestly wasn't expecting any kind of discount (the way things were at the time). My hope was for at most MSRP, so you can imagine how thrilled I was with what I got.
