You know someone at GM has a sense of humor...

Everytime I open my trunk, whoever is with me LOL's at the inside trunk release pull with it's little diagram of a person jumping out. Like it is possible for a) an adult to fit and not be injured, and b) for a small kid to somehow climb in there.

Greg Norris is the only one who knows where Shunt is.

This is the kind of "feature" that gets mandated in Washington. It is a legal liability deterent for all of the folks that use the shyster lawyers from the TV commercials. The one that pisses me off the most is the decals on my visors. I got the driver's side off but the passenger side is on to good and I am afraid of ruining the visor. If any one knows a way to get this thing off please tell me. I already tried the hair dryer method and it didn't work.

Philadelphia, last summer. Three kids died when they climbed in a car trunk while playing and locked themselves in. No matter how stupid some mandates seem they were made due to past incidents.

OK, so when someone accidently locks himself in the trunk, he can look up and read this tag to get out?! Isnt it dark in a trunk?

I wondered how bright that glows, but I guess if you open the trunk and close it right away, its still bright enough in pitch dark. Think I will have to put my camara in the trunk just see how bright it really is. Need something to do on my 6 weeks vacation!
