making comments on this forum

I know i'm not an adminastrator but, I think we need some rules for this forum like other forums have.

I see sometimes we bring up discussions that say lewd and negative comments about others and their likes or dislikes, so In knowing that we all have our own opinions about differences we need to be respectful to those we talk to .

Our main goal here is to have fun and be a group who LOVES the new and /or old camaro's , so lets keep our discussions to the camaro and desires for it .

thanks jb

JB, I agree...differences of opinions are what make for good discussions, but if it becomes "personal", that won't be tolerated.

I visit several forums, and the one's that have good info., "civil" discussions, and good behavior are the ones I enjoy being a part of. I was a member of another forum that "went the other way" and I no longer visit it.

Those that get personal with "lewd comments", etc. should receive a warning via PM, once. A second time, banned.

Great suggestion! I've posted forum posting rules as a guideline going forward for all current and future members - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=239

I'm glad this was brought up and I agree with both of you 100%. I love getting on the site to have some good discussion but the disrespectful comments are unnecessary. If one can't respect anothers opinion, either nothing should be said at all, or maybe this isn't a site for you. Let's keep this a clean and enjoyable forum for all who visit.

I can't agree more I think everyone should get along and remember that this is a car that brought alot of people together and that is what we are here for to see info and respect the new Camaro.

I'll just add the info in on here. Sorry bout those threads guys (cell phone sellers). The spam catcher gets most of them. Some still come through. Threads are gone, but Mods don't have the power to ban. Only admins can do this. So...I'll forward on the info to Jason and Mark and see if they can ban them. Jeeeeez....I go out to mow the lawn for a sec and spammers go nuts! At least it's not like another site I visit where the porn spam with pictures and all stays up for 3 days because there's only one person who can delete it. I try to get this stuff as quick as I can guys.

while we are at it why can't we ban people like fall soldier who all 6 of his posts have been slamming what this forum is about... how ridiculous is it to join a camaro forum (named camaro5.com) and apparently hate on the car!
