That's a bold statement on this forum...might want to reconsider your 'marketing' approach.

This is correct. You need to let people know what your end goal is first. This will vary with the cam specs.

Gotta agree with dish... You may get all the volume and performance/power you need from headers, exhaust, CAI.. I took that step first and was so happy with the results, now don't get me wrong. Cam will be a next step for me..

try headers and intake first then... I am telling you, man. The volume and tone of a good exhaust system with headers will blow you away.

maybe your tuner will give you some type of discount for a return visit? The labor cost to install both of these is also cheaper.. and in many cases can be done yourself if you have a lift. I wouldn't trust myself with a cam install though...

Because you have an L99 (like I do) a VTT cam after labor can run you close to 2-3k, because you will most likely need to replace lifters etc... a conversion to an LS3/TUNE with labor could run you 3.5-5k.

The headers/exhaust will be cheaper and the sound may be all you need. If you don't think that is enough, then jump to the cam and you will get another boost of performance and sound...

I recommend checking out
Lashway Motorsports
Texas-Speed
MarylandSpeed
Ted Jannetty racing...

there are other great vendors here, but that is who I shop through... each of those guys can get you what you want very quickly and not completely break the bank. Again.. expect to drop 2-2.5k for headers, exhaust, intake and you could see 40-50 hp gains since you already have the tune...but closer to 3-4k just for the cam.

Check out the mods in my sig. Totally happy with the Jannetty setup. Still have the stock exhaust, but it is a bit louder with the headers/cats for normal driving. And it screams when you get on it! With the auto, you will have to do some extra mods to, but it should be worth it.

You really need to talk to a cam guy. You would also want the DOD delete for the L99 while you are in there. Texas Speed has some great Kits with everything included. There are a lot of companies on this board that will be happy to help you out if you give them a call. Brantly847 has a good point. Headers, cai and tune goes a long ways!! I would try that first then decide if you want to get the cam. CAI and headers are pretty much required for a cam anyway to get the most out of it.

Call Texas Speed after U get the Air part figured out...
