That's very short-minded.

Not everyone can afford a V8. Take out all those V6 sales and the Camaro doesn't exist (again).

Who thinks your parents shouldn't have made you?

I have a 00Z and want a '10 V6 as a daily. What's wrong with that? I also don't want 2 LS3 cars as I'm planning on a LS3 vette later. Who else thinks it would be completely retarded to own 3 V8s? I can put that $8K I have on not getting the SS and put it towards the vette or mods for it.

I think that the V8 is for me, but have no problem with them making a V6 or anything else that they feel is fit.

I love the V8 (though I am getting a V6 because of price), but the V6 will be the money maker in the long run, so if you want the V8 you will have to have the V6 on the market.

Hard to whine about a 300 HP V6 Camaro. Look at the third gens, maximum output from their V8 was around 250.

That's like saying restaurants should only serve steaks. Or that all beer sold should be an expensive import.

If enthusiasts were the only one buying... then maybe. But once the dealer starts stocking these cars, it's gonna be the V6's

I think that there are alot of assumptions being made about those of us that have ordered a V6. I can afford a SS but chose to get a 2LT/RS as my daily driver. I have owned plenty of V8's over the years...and yes....the sound is nice, so it the horsepower. 304hp definitely qualifies the V6 as a legitimate performer. I made the decision to get the V6 because I've given enough of my money to the greedy oil companies. So don't start looking down your nose at me for getting a V6, it's a choice.

Don't disrespect the V6. It will punish a lot of cars in the market. The pony car tradition has always included reputable V6s with dominating V8s above them. Just because you want a V8 doesn't mean it is right for everyone.
