Yep. The objective is to lower the front tire contact patch while maxing out the rear tire contact patch.

Front
Caster is not adjustable from the factory
Camber -1 for a street driven car and maxed out negative -2.2 for a strip only car
Toe 0.00

Rear
Camber 0.00 and no more than -0.50
Toe IN 0.10 Total 0.20

Yup what he said, I just did basically the same thing and dropped a couple tenths off my 60ft time.

Why the toe in the rear? I would figure youd want the rear toe at 0 as well?

Pete, why recommend negative camber at all for the back tires, just curious. I'm at +0.30 camber at ride height.

The 5th Gen Camaro 5 link is reasonably stable under load. There is some wheel splay under hard acceleration. The toe in helps control that as well as being stable well into triple digits.

I think +0.30 is great. Not all OE height 5th Gens can get there. I haven't seen a single OE hight 5th Gen that couldn't get to 0.00. Many that drag also lower. the -0.50 is for them. With our extended range camber eccentric bolts we add 1 degree of additional adjustment if needed, but I was trying to avoid any product related information in this thread .

We run more than 1 degree of toe out on road course cars with excellent high speed stability. 0.00 toe decreases rolling resistance. That is why we suggest maximum attainable negative front camber, even with skinnies. Every fraction of a second we can find.

The total Toe is only 2/10ths of a degree. We know it will be more stable at high speeds and it should help control wheel splay in the 60'. That said, we are splitting hairs.

We use a 1/16th of toe in on the rear to keep the car a lil more stable and not WALK at speed...We stand the rear tires up like a straight axle...

As far as old school drag tech goes, what we try to achieve is the best alignment under the cars full load conditions. When you accelerate down the track, the rear end squats a bunch and the nose comes up a bunch. We set the alignment for the cars attitude.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
