If you have truly tracked cars then you know that you really need to crawl all over that assembly to truly see the changes. The '67 SS Camaro had a very noticeable problem with wheel hop. The solution in '68? Stagger the rear shocks. It made such a difference that they no longer needed the passenger side link and removed it. This was a very small change (moving the mount of one shock from the back of the 12 bolt, to the front) that made a big difference.

ok so the GXP and the 2SS both have an LS3 but the gxp is detuned or what?

sort of. GM never explained what the difference between the LS3 in the Camaro vs G8 vs Corvette is. Its probably something to do with the intake and exhaust. Thats what they always claim anyway
