Sold SS waiting for Z28! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just sold my IOM 2SS/RS to my father. He just got a '10 Corvette Convertible Grand Sport, but once he heard that the Z28 is a go, at the moment, and that the new Vette is only two years away he sold it. He wanted a toy and I was selling it anyway so he bought it. I also am waiting for the Z28 I know alot of people on here are still up in the air about GM building it, but I am one that believes it will be out at the end of 2011 so I am waiting. My dealer also heard from his rep that it's a very realistic timeframe that Oct/Nov 2011 as a 2012 model with the convertibles coming out Aug/Sept 2011 as a 2012. So hopefully we will know something soon and get some pics eventually so we can all gawk at it!

Because obviously neither one of them knows how to exercise and restraint, and they have the money to do it.

waiting for a pipe dream....a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush! doubt it...maybe the convertible.....but the Z....your going to have to get a mod, by Hennessey etc...GM isn't in that type of business anymore

and who are you to know what business they are in?

I'm sure if they find it profitable they will make it. with enough people around here begging for it and the price range it is very possible. stop being a negative nancy

that's at LEAST 2 summers worth of driving you will miss out on.

Provided your time line is accurate... It's still a crap shoot as to when the Z28 may appear.

doubt that it will be the same as the zl575....probably more likely to be a turbo V6
