Is there a fix for this?

My convertible top has developed some bubbles in the sail panel. I've noticed this on other Camaros but no one has mentioned much about it.. If you're having this issue, please respond.

Greetings,

I realize how displeasing it can be when faced with a convertible top concern like this PDILLON, and though you're seeking thoughts and opinions, I would be happy to communicate this situation with the designated Customer Experience Manager at your preferred dealer if you feel an official diagnosis is necessary. Feel free to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or discuss this situation further.

Kindly,

William R.

Looks like your 5th bow is bent. That is a common problem and there is an official GM fix for it

I have the same issue. I brought mine in to a couple St. Louis area dealers and they both said the amount of "wave" or "bubble" was within normal tolerances and that it wasn't bad enough to warrant a repair. I also have a some minor wear points on the top.

I plan to keep an eye on it and bring it in again if it gets worse.

I HAD THE 5TH BOW REPLACED 3/5/14 AND EVERYTHING WAS TIGHT AND LOOKED GOOD NO SAGS TILL 2-3 WEEKS AGO, YOU CAN SEE WRINKLES IN THE TOP ABOVE THE DRIVERS DOOR WINDOW AND THE SAIL PANEL.

THE 5TH BOW LOOKS OK AT THE BACK, ITS STILL TIGHT. AND THE PASANGER SIDE LOOKS GOOD ALSO.

THE WEAR MARKS ARE FROM THE TOP WHIPPING AGAINST THE TRIM AT THE REAR WHEN THE TOP IS DOWN.

THE TOP 2 PICS ARE BEFORE THE 5TH BOW REPLACEMENT,
BOTTOM 2 PICS ARE NOW
