Fathers Day Gift
My wife was going to get my car painted the way I wanted, (like the LS7 GMperformance Camaro). Then she decided to just let me spend 1k on what ever I wanted. I do want the paint job, but I really want Pfadt springs, sway bars and a short throw shifter. Or doing the CTS-V front brakes.
What should I do? |

Springs, sways, and shifter.
Springs and shifter for sure. Camaros look tons better lowered and the shifter makes a world of difference in feel as well. Love my MGW!

She's going to "let" you spend $1000? That's awful big of her.
Do you care more about looks or performance? Springs and sways are awesome upgrade. |

It isn't sexy, but the lowest hanging fruit on the 5th Gen is found in upgrades to the sub-frame and radius bushes. You could get sub-frame inserts, radius bush inserts and lowering coils well within you budget. If you can stretch your budget just a bit more it would include installation and an alignment.
Before you do anything may I suggest you read the BOOK on 5th Gen Setup? |
