I talked to Connell today. They're up to 130 on the list now. He told me people near the end won't have their cars until next Spring.

I've found about four or five dealers in SoCal that are accepting MSRP and a few that tell me they have allocations left. I will post the list as soon as I put my order in with one of them.

Here's one to start with. Again they will take MSRP and said they have allocation left (at least for the V6 I was ordering):

Lake Chevrolet
Lake Elsinore, CA
Contact: Internet Sales Brad Johnson
951-674-3116
cell: 951-312-1456

More to come...

First dealer who PM's me they will accept my offer gets the privilage to sell me a Camaro:

1SS 6 Speed manual
Silver
Black Interior
RS Package
Moonroof

$28,500 including all dealer fees, doc fees, filing fees - I will pay tax, title, and 30 tag sepparately if you are outside of Ohio

$30,450 out the door including tax, title, all fees, and 30 day tag if you are in the state of Ohio.

I am dead serious. If not now, maybe when demand eases up - but I am ready to buy today at that price.

After all, this thread is for MSRP or below.

Let's see who wants to be a leader and be the first to start selling below MSRP - you will be the #1 dealer on this forum for a very long time.

I just put in my order for a 2LT! Dealer says he thinks he'll have it by May, just in time for my birthday. Of course I ordered Cyber Grey, so we'll see if I get held up by paint restrictions.

Anyway, I promised more SoCal dealers so here they are. All of them accept MSRP and have allocation left:

Steve Majick
Fleet/Internet Manager
Harbor Automotive Chevrolet/Hyundai
3770 Cherry ave
Long Beach, CA. 90807
562-753-0115
[Note: Steve is asking for $1000 deposit and says he has five allocations left]

Tommy Edrisi
Fleet/Internet Sales Manager
Selman Chevrolet in Orange, CA
714-633-3521
[$500 deposit]

Marc Warren
glendorachevy@eleadtrack.net
Internet Manager Glendora Chevrolet
Office : 909-599-7777

Finally, here is where I placed my order this morning. I think they have one more allocation for a V6 (if you call, tell Nolan I sent you!)

Nolan Paden
Internet Sales Manager
Nicholas Chevrolet
22 FWY and Brookhurst [that's Garden Grove, CA]
714 319 7726 Cell <<<< Best
714 534 2700 Store
nolanpaden@yahoo.com (personal)
nolan@nicholaschevrolet.com (work)
[$500 deposit and they won't even cash it]

So these four dealers in addition to the 2 I listed above are it. I contacted 30 dealers and these are the ones in SoCal accepting MSRP. I wasn't able to find anyone accepting Supplier/Student pricing, which is a shame since I qualify.

BTW, mine's a 2LT auto, Cyber Grey with black stripes and inferno orange interior. Can't wait!

Ask to speak with Steven Lee

Got a print out and he told me MSRP or less.

No deposit required but my family has been buying from then for over 15 years. So they may require some to to pay deposit.

looking for a dealer local or not that will sell at MRSP, requires no more than $1000 down, honors a military discount, and will ship the car to Albuquerque?
