New 2013 1LE Owner
Hey guys. Not new to Camaro5. Prior screen name was CPDSS and have attended CF3 and CF4. I used to have a modified '10 (vid link below):
Anyway, I sold my 2010 2SS/RS(G6X3 Cam, Headers, Custom stripes etc...) in early 2013 and was really having sellers remorse to the extent that I contacted the guy who bought the car and told him I would buy it back if he was interested. Needless to say he loves it as much as i did/do and said no to me buying it back. I have since been searching for another camaro, both used and new. I really liked a 2014 1LE/1SS I found with the recaro seats. The seats are amazing! however, still more than I wanted to spend. In the end I did a 500 mile search from Chicago and located my new 1LE on a dealer lot(Dugan Chevy) in Avon, Indiana. It is a 2013 1LE/1SS Rally Yellow. The only option it has is the 1LE package (no NPP, No Navi, No Sunroof, No RS, No Boston Acoustics). All in all a very low optioned car which is actually what I wanted in the first place. There was another Rally Yellow in Indianapolis also Rally Yellow with NPP but the dealer would not budge much on price. I ended up getting this one way under MSRP and feel that I got a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, after putting about 15k in my 2010, this will have to stay near stock for at least a year. well here is the car(took the pic at the dealer today when I drove down and picked it up, not the best pic but you get the idea): Josh |

thanks guys. rolled 345 miles when I got home.
the negative is that the area in Indiana where I bought it had about 1-2 inches of snow last night. they put the car inside for me last night but the roads were coated in salt when i drove home. I dont have any hand car wash places near where I live in Chicago and its only 18 degrees outside. not sure when I'm going to get this salt off..... |

Congrats. I have the same problem as you. Only 15 degrees here in NW Indiana, I'm about half hour from you. Mine is parked til spring.

That's one of the brothers to my car. Dugan acquired 3 1LE's from Chevrolet that were special event cars used at Camaro Fest IV. They had a red, silver, and a yellow one. I believe one of the forum members who bought the silver car was from Ohio. I bought the red one and am from northern Indiana near South Bend. Welcome to the fraternity of three.
