Hello Everyone. What size battery tender do I need for winter storage for my 1LE? Are there certain ones or sizes? Thanks in advance!!

There are two Battery Tender models to consider. The junior which charges at .75 amps and the Tender plus that charges at 1.25 amps. I use the plus. Both will do what you need them to do. The Junior will take a long time to charge a depleted battery. Happy charging.

I use a Junior to maintain both a 1LE and Corvette during winter storage with no problems. Neither the Junior or the Plus is made to charge depleted batteries.

Okay Thanks the battery is still charged. I have been starting it up every few weeks but would rather just put a tender on it.

From a fellow Pittsburgher, (yinz'r), I use the tender Jr on my tractor and the plus on the 1le. Both are worth the money. Good products.

Get the tender. Just starting every few weeks is not a good option. That is not enough to dry out any moisture built up while just idling in garage. It may start pre mature rusting of some parts.
