Texas Caravan to Camaro5Fest III

Hello everyone, being that the other thread was started by a member that no longer owns a Camaro, I thought I would start another one.

I contacted several Auto Transport companies to see what the cost would be to transport our Camaros. The best price I could get would be around $950 round trip. They said if we could get about 4 or more that are picked up from the same spot here in DFW, they would probably go lower. This would be freight, taxes, toll, fuel and insurance on an open transport trailer.

Post up here if you would be interested in meeting here in the Dallas area and maybe rent a Van to cruise in together. I will get more details if I can get more interest or commitments.

We can also use this thread to narrow down other details of the caravan from Texas to Indy..

Uhh...Keith....there's a sticky on this from Chris (Atti2de) here in the Texas Forum. Unless he sold his Camaro and didn't tell me, in which case I'm gonna be pissed!

Extreme horsepower is hard on parts. My guess is it's more about getting it home than there. I'm sure Keith will have it all out on the strip a few times. That's why mine is going in a trailer too. A 1000hp tends to break things even when it's not supposed to.
