So what happened to Dragoneye and Tran?

Did they sleep through their time at VIR?

No, once they heard the engine idle and saw the car doing laps, they got scared!!!

Ok a few things I noticed that will need to be addressed for drag racers.

1. Toe rods look the same as the SS. Those need to be swapped out
2. Trailing arms look very close to the SS, I'm guessing swap those too.
3. Cats look the same, Headers and cat swap out.
4. Bell pan, doubt it's needed for drag racing. That will get left off.

You won't want to remove the belly pan. The whole front end is engineered together to improve stability. Once you start getting into the 100+ mph, it could get hairy with all that air being pulled in by the splitter, but no belly pan to force it out the extractors....

What a weekend...and WHAT A CAR.

I am deeply humbled to have been invited to this, and so I want to do the experience justice as as small gesture of thanks to Chevy and the Camaro team...I just hope you all will want to read the dissertation I'm finishing up!

For those of you who've ordered one, like me...You are NOT going to believe the car you're getting. I am completely stunned, overjoyed, speechless (if you'll believe that one

). There's simply no way around it. and I'm not apologizing for saying it anymore: The ZL1 is a SUPERCAR.

Feel free to ask any questions you like - I'm sure I'll leave something out, because there's just SO much to tell.

I fully expect to have everything ready and posted by tomorrow evening. Bear with me just a short while longer, everyone!

Too bad that has crappy weather.....got the play by play from our media buddies who were trying to drive the car hard....VIR is a real greasy track in the rain..
