Well damn, I guess I never thought of it that way before because I most likely would have a Procharger on mine by now. LOL. I guess you could always throw a 100 shot on it.
DO IT DO IT!!!!

I am liking it stock so far and plan to keep it that way. I will add a set of slicks but thats about it.

now if I trade for a ZL1, I can see my self blowing up a 55k car instead of a 33k TA bucause I would want to make it run better than what it did from the factory. so dodge keeps me from blowing up my cars.

why don't you mod the car within its limits and keep it there or build it to take unlimited power?

it is at its limits by adding a CAI and cat back with out tunning. people who have put a set of headers on are throwing codes and I don't want to deal with that. so again my goal is an 11.9 slip with CAI, catback and a set of sticky tires.

I could go with a converter but still want to see if I can hit an 11 second slip before doing something like that. we already have a guy who put converter and drag radials and hit 11's. I want to see if I can beat him. he might of shot a 75 hp shot of juice and I want to do it without.

also might trade for ZL1 or 2013 challenger if they come out with a 392 with blower on it from the factory.

That makes 2 of us. If the new GT500 had an auto option that would be on the list too but the auto wont ever happen on the GT500's. So, its back to the ZL1 or 2013 Challenger. Who knows what Dodge will do though.

I also dont think Brian ran a 75 shot to get the 11.9's. If he did, the trap speed would have been better than the 114.

Well, my 2012 6.4L SRT8 Charger took down a 6SPD Camaro, my friends to be exact and we both switched off back and forth. The charger won hands down every time. I can't speak for the challenger but when I had my 2SS I had a 6.4L 392 beat me similarly like my charger beat my friends 2SS. But go have fun!

When you get your ZL1 let us know how it is!!!! Im seriously thinking of getting one if Dodge doesnt step up to the plate soon. I just like to see real track times from a REAL owner before I lay down the cash.

yup, will wait until next year to see if Dodge will or won't come out with a supercharged 392. if not, ZL1 here we come. especially with an auto. too old to shift any more.

It's just easier to put a 392 into a 09-10 stupid isn't it? easier to swap the motor than the electronics the other way around. sounds like alot of the 11'+ challenger owners are near giving up and trading in for a zl1 or gt500 if they can't get the engines to perform like they expect in the 6.4. Such a shame a company would decide to hold owners hands so tightly, no wonder folks jump ship to another marquee.

that is the bottom line. even the older hemi's do not have the same tuning support that you have in the LSx world with all of the available tuning tools. I do love the looks and the real back seats in the challenger over the camaro but I do want the option to add what ever I want and be able to tune my own car.

Is their an outcome yet for this event?

Funny, both our cars so much potential, but the damn computers are holding us back :(

Doesnt the camaro have a torque management system like the challenger?
