I'm not sure where we are in the ET list for the event, but we ran an 11.23 @ 121.5 MPH yesterday morning. This is naturally-aspirated with a stock L99 short-block, Precision Race Components cylinder heads, and our TSP VVT3 camshaft.

i was watching a bunch this afternoon and they were mostly in the 12's and 13's. i saw one guy in the 11's
of course it was also 2pm and over 90 degrees

I saw only two cars hit 11s in the 2 days of the event....
My best ET at the event was 12.04 IT WAS HOT!! But had a lot of fun! JM

No shade. No breeze. It was hot, but it wasn't near the same as last years fest. A lot more people ran their car last year. As for the big guys, they either didn't run or had problems.

I hope that you didnt see the semifinals of the quick 16.....I had problems with 2nd gear an lost with a 14seg run...

As I mentioned in the other thread, the DA was 3800 ft. yesterday afternoon at Firebird Raceway.
That will make a car run about .5 - .6 tenths slower than a cool day at sea level. I think they need to have Camaro5fest at a low elevation track during a cool weather month. Then we'll see some fast times. |
