Sad day, indeed. Hate they need to sell ANYTHING out of the collection.

Hopefully those sold find appreciative homes, rather than the "will never see light of day again" uber-collectors.

Maybe GM can buy some of them back someday.

Oh, and dang I sure wish I had a dog in this hunt. :(

I'd be all over the 60's and 70's Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes, GTO's, etc.

Sigh.

The downforce is strong in this one. (<---sorry, I just had too.)
Angry, no 86 GNX but there seems to be a 2001 Regal GNX going up for auction..... concept?

I have no issue with GM selling off the misc. stuff, but I hate to see them selling off first and last builds and really special cars like the early stuff, or special projects. Those items should stay with GM. I guess I am just sentimental about that kind of thing.

This is unfortunate. But all of those cars will go to good homes I'm sure.

if any of you guys ever get a chance to see the heritage center collection i suggest doing it. i got the chance to go on a special tour last march and i have got to say it was jaw dropping. that and a trip to the renn cen is a must do for any one into gm cars/trucks. sad day to see them sell off some of the collection but they at least picked some of the less important ones. think if they had to to sell firebird 1 or 3 (not the Pontiacs)

Hello, I saw on this site an 08 chevy Corvette rolling chassis, with other than OEM frame parts (Yellow in Color) Holding up the upper control arms at all for corners of the suspension . I'm wondering who made them? I am getting ready to fit a 1971 Jaguar E car over a Corvette chassis and would like to know if they are an available set of units?

Thanks

MrWizard
