I'm not sure if we'll go back, we rode over with the Florida Mopars expecting to hang with them for the night but the people parking wouldn't let us park with them (then ended up parking other Camaros with them). Then we went in to eat and it took some of our group 2 hours to get their food. I don't think they were prepared for a full house last night! But at least we know now that it's not just the PC Hooters, its apparently company wide. But it was nice to see some old friends and make some new ones. And of course, a road trip in a Gen5 is always fun.

Hey Sparkey - Went to Tucker Duke's Lunchbox, the one at Hurricane Lanes in Destin, today. Colonel's brisket was very good, but $$. Did not see the pimento cheese grits, must be a daily special thingy.

OMG! Even if I do say so myself....my car looks so freakin' good like this!!! All professionally dressed up and everything!!!

Unfortunately I was stuck between two indexes (12:00 index and was running 12.1x's) and ended up against the number one qualifier first round on Sunday. I did my job on the tree, but she just couldn't run her number. :( Oh well...that's racing. Maybe next time......

Aww shucks. Lookin' good though. Other than the car number, what's all the other stuff you got stuck on the windows and above the Camaro badge?

Well....the 803 is my permanent number from the NHRA/LSX. I'm probably gonna leave it on the front for a while, but I will take off the other three windows. The Chevrolet Performance sticker above the windshield wiper is the event sponsor. The Tremec sticker above that one is one of the category sponsors (True Street category), and the Nitto sticker above the Camaro badge was the other category sponsor (Gen 5 Challenge). I also have sponsor stickers on both small side windows and the back window. That car looked so bad ass this weekend it's crazy. In a way I hate to take it all off.....but I already can't see anything out the windows, so I probably should take most of it off, plus it does give it a tendency to call attention to itself.

The car is bright orange. It already draws plenty of attention as it is!
