powdercoating them before you paint it will last most places would only charge about 25-30bucks a caliper to powdercoat them

you can always get some caliper paint and do them yourself. . . Did on my last car and the paint was fine. . . no flake or anything.

Not in this part of the country. I got 3 qoutes ranging from $375-525. Ended up using duplicolor paint, 6 months later and 4000 winter miles --> still looks great

I used the duplicolor caliper paint on my truck I had. Looked great for a few years. It was getting to the point where they needed to be redone/touched up when I traded it in but that was after 6 years.
main thing is make sure you clean them well.

On my G6 I painted them my self. Used duplicolor red paint and they lasted the whole time I had the car. I havent much time to do anything to wild with my car so Ill wait til the summer to do the same on my ss.

It's not easy to paint these caliper after they have been on the car. You have to get every bit of dirt off and sand down the whole caliper. We paint calipers and they come out great. There is a lot of prep work involved though.

Thumbs up

G2 works better than Duplicolor and they can match factory colors.
