I also talked to him about "VK3" front license plate bracket. he said he is hoping that they just include them and the dealer will install them, but he thinks that because here in Utah it's law to have a front plate I may not have a choice. It might be installed at the factory.....BOO!!

The factory does not install the front license plate bracket. It ships with the car in the trunk. The dealer will do whatever you tell them to do.

This is not new, the vette has been like this years.

Thanks TomServo! If that's the case I should be good because he assured me his dealership would not install them, he said he is going to treat the Camaro's coming in just like he does his Vettes!!

This is not new, the vette has been like this years.

Quite correct; even my GTO didn't have one installed (still doesn't 4+ years later)... Also remember that advertising is not free; that's what I tell every dealer that wants to put their stickers/emblems/whatever on the back of my vehicles. They usually talk me into a rear license plate frame but I tell them flat out if anything is adhered to the paint on my car I will NOT take delivery.

My old pontiac dealership felt it necessary to put their badging on the back of my car. It was vinyl stickers, which I took a hair drier and fishing line too as soon as it got in the driveway.

I literally ripped off my front license plate. You need to have it in Illinois, but eh i haven't been pulled over yet, although i do have friends that have been. Yet, i look for other cars on the road around here and they don't have front plates either.
