I agree with Razor . . . that bank makes you pay for it when you don't drive it.
my window sticker disagrees with you.

After my trial period on my Camaro ended, they keep trying to sign me up for 6 months/ $25. I called after I sold the car, telling them I was no longer the owner, and to stop sending me junk mail, but it still comes. :(

On my F-350 and GT500, I get the same offers, so I told them to make it $50/year and sign me up. They said no, but I could just keep re-doing their offer. (Which is a huge hassle to get cancelled, so it won't auto-renew at the much higher price!!)

Why treat your customers that way??

They are hoping you forget to cancel it, and they can take your money at the full rate.

I am very unhappy with the whole thing!!!!!!

Exactly. Just try to cancel once they get your credit card number. It's an ordeal. Many other members here can attest to that. If the company would just treat customers in an honest fashion, I'd be happy to do business with them. No wonder they've nearly gone bankrupt. You'd think they'd learn.

If they were a good customer advocate like myself. They would have suggested you just sit in your car in the evenings after work and on the weekends and enjoy your 3 month subscription.

OK my mistake . . . but this complaint about the trial starting the day you buy the car is STUPID and I stand my ground there.

My window sticker for my 2013 states 12 months.

It turned off after 3 months at the start of this week.

I've phoned the dealer to fix that issue

let me correct that, it is a shame you have to argue to get what you paid for.

the trial isn't free.. that first year is built in the the selling price of the vehicle..

nothing is free.. you paid for it when you bought the car.

I had that nightmare when I leased my Ford Taurus and made the mistake of doing that. The funny thing is the radio stopped working with the XM broadcasts. They did the auto renew, I called them explained what had occurred and that I had not been receiving the signal at all! They removed me from auto renew and refunded me the money they had taken out for the auto renew! I will let this subscription expire and be done with them. It's way too expensive for what content you receive. If it were video content also I could see the reason for charging what they do.

Yes it is too expensive for what you get and I'll bet that most who have it only listen to one out of the hundreds of stations they offer on the drive to and from work. It's the biggest marketing gimmick yet. Lets offer them more than they could possibly listen to or care about and make them think we're doing them a favor, or they are missing out! Cha Ching$$$

Not a knock on anyone as I have this service too. Damn it.

There are posts about this problem on the forum.

Yep, you should have 12 months with a ZL1. If you can't get it resolved with XM via the phone go to your dealer. They should have a XM sales rep.
