Aftermarket wheels on zl1

I recently bought some
New rims to interchange the stock ones out. Has anyone had issues with clearing the caliper on the front rims? I'm having some difficulty. Going to have a buddy of mine check up on it.

I hope you figure out the issue because the stock ZL1 rims are amazing IMO, I don't think any aftermarket rim could beat them.

Nice car by the way I'm jealous!

I have an extra set of aftermarket wheels and tires that I bought for my 2011 2SS/RS Vert, and the last few years I put them on the ZL1 for the winter so I could store my stock ZL1 wheels/tires in the basement.

No problems at all as long as they're made to fit the SS with the brembo brakes and not the base Camaro, they'll fit just fine.

I need to buy a winter set for my ZL1. May just pick up some replicas. Can't beat the OEM wheels.

I think maybe the shop I went to was being too careful with the wheel. I'll find out soon. I did tell th company it was for a zl1 and they said I just have to take the resonance rollers off the front.

None.. Put Factory Reproductions black gloss on and never looked back. OEM and Supercars have been in the basement since last Sept..

I love the black stockers & I have a set of 18" F14's for track use & 22" XO Miami's for the summer when it gets hot over here so not hard beating the car.

So looks like I had to actually run 5mm spacers all around. My brake caliper didn't clear. The front resonance rollers also had to be taken off the stock brake pads.

Still working away at putting my rims on. A lot of work to get them on. Had to use 8mm spacers and am bout to get extended studs just to be on the safe side. Also had to grind down a part oft knuckle
On my car. Rims look great but too much work to get them on. I was told they would fit right on with only taking out the resonance rollers which I did as well.
