Adams/Zaino Thoughts.......

We I fell for the hype and ordered the Adams kits, products/pads/focal pads.

Am I qualified to post, I think I am, I have owned a car wash for a few years, some years ago, LOL. At that time 3M/Auto Magic was all the rage, LOL.

I have no interest in either company, I paid for all of my Adams and Zaino, nor am I a Junkman wanna be, Or looking to be a spokesperson for either product. I'm just giving my thoughts on the products, now that I have used both.

I detailed the wifes minivan today, maybe that will pay off tonight, LOL.

Without getting technical and boring anyone, here are my quick thoughts.

Adams is best for paint correction hands down!!
Adams focal pads are the best thing since sliced bread.
Adams regular pads are GREAT, nice edge to them to get into creases etc. Clean up very nicely.

Final shine, goes to Zaino, Nothing shines like Zaino.
Zaino really does not do much for paint correction, not as much as Adams.

Now, Most of us have new 2010's so there really isn't much of a need for paint correction, Dawn wash, clay and your Fav Z layers and you are good to go.

If I owned a 2002, I would do Adams.
For my 2010, I stick with my Zaino!

That's the way I always did it. For me, both products produced the exact same shine. The only difference I saw was the process I used to get there. Before I found ZPC, I used Meguiar's products to do the paint correction and then Zaino to get my shine. I have videos on You Tube of my whole Zaino routine, although I wasn't as thorough as I am now. Hey, it was my first ever video series!

Well, I use Adam products with the PC, then seal it all up with Z5 and Z2 and keep her shiny with Z6 spray. The Adams gets the swirls 95% out (that's just my technique more than likely) and the Z5 covers/fills the rest. Haven't seen a reaction between the two product lines and I love the results! Win / Win for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the products.

Both companies offer very good products. It's just a matter of determining which works best for you, and using it.

I've been a proponent of Zaino for years, and I use Zaino or Meguires, to detail cars, depending on how much the customer wants to spend.

Reading all of the posts/thoughts regarding Adams, I may add the product to the "options" list.
