I got away with it for 2 years before I got pulled over for that exact reason.

Drilled a few extra holes in the plate bracket and mounted it with zip ties so if the law is passed it will only take a few snips and I am golden!

One can only hope! I hate it myself. With that said, I refuse to put it on the front of mine as well when I get it. Hated putting it on the front of my 2010 Malibu. Maybe a quick bracket idea like Kosmo said...
