Father in law just told me he got it for $2.49 in Spartanburg, SC (87)
Cheapest I've seen in Charlotte is $2.72 (87) $2.99 (93) |

Here in SE NC it varies, as of Fri., from 2.75 at Sam's in Fayetteville to 2.85 in Wilmington. These are 87 prices; 91 prices are about 45 to 50 cents more.
Oh, and BTW, when I started driving gas was $0.15 a gallon and they checked your oil, tire pressures, cleaned you windshield, and gave you Green stamps. Also, occasionally there were price wars and gas would get down to $0.11 or $0.12 cents a gallon. Of course, at the same time the minimum wage was $1.00, a good car cost less than $2000, and you could buy a decent house for less than $10000. And, Ike was in the White House and Congress actually was functional! Times have changed. |

gas is 2.70 in my town I remeber when it was .45 riding my bike to pick up gas for the mower back in the late 70s
