By far this is the happiest ive ever been at 6AM. Now, im just waiting for my old man to get ready so we can start our 5 and a half hr road trip to Gainesville, Tx to pick up my new Victory Red 2SS/RS Camaro. Pictures will be coming tomorrow dont you worry.

Congratulations Dont imagine you had a lot of sleep last night. I know the night before I pick mine up I wont be doing much sleeping. Strong coffee maybe a good idea for a 5.5 hr return trip.

Haha, it was like Christmas eve for a 10 year old. I couldnt get to sleep whatsoever till 2. Got up at 6 to get everyone movin then we hit the road. I think i had 4 or 5 red bulls yesterday. On the way to Gainesville, i got a call from the guy at the body shop who was puttin my stripes on and he said he couldnt make it work because the contour for the top of the hood was off( it was like a half-moon instead of a straight line.) I emailed the manufacturer, so i will give him a chance to right the problem before i start bashing him though.

When i got to the body shop to take my car back to the dealership, i noticed that they drilled and installed my damn front license plate brackets, after the dealership TOLD me they would leave them off. So basically i was 0/2 at this point.

None of that mattered though, the car is absolutely amazing! I drove a challenger at the dodge dealership and the transmission was terrible, which led me to believe that Chevy changed theirs up too. Luckily, it's even easier to shift and drive than my old 98 Camaro.

I was a little worried though when we got back to the dealership and looked in one of their repair bays. Apparently, the ac pump was draining inside the car instead of out, and ruined all the carpets in the car. The dealership said it would be about a month ro repair the guys car.

This little worry kinda turned into a bigger one when my ac would start kickin out a drop or two of water on the way back to Midland, and the air wasnt very cold at all. Eventually, the problem fixed itself though, so i think it must have just frozen up.
