Find a dealer that will let you take it for an hour. You'll answer your own question....then when you want more power (and believe me, you will) you'll have a platform that can handle anything you can throw at it!

Apples and Oranges. Day and Night. No other Camaro can compare to the ZL1 as a street car.

Suspicion confirmed. Plus the ZL1 looks better. I'm going to make it and be in the club! The ZL1 will be a much better platform to mod from that's very true. I really appreciate everyone and their input and thanks KaBoom for the links.

I had a 2ss for 4 years a 1LE for 6 months and a now a ZL1

All different, All great.

Personally...I don't think I will ever own a car that is not supercharged again....

Having had both the SS and the ZL1, other than the obvious power differential I was most surprised with the ride and handling of the ZL1. With the 3rd gen magnetic ride suspension, the ride is truly outstanding. Soft and manageable even on the roughest roads, yet killer on the track and twisty roads. Steering feel is great, too.

I only test drove an SS, but I bought a ZL1. Much more power. No need to mod!

No need to mod?

My new ZL1 hasn't been built yet (TPW 3/30 ) and I'm already working on a mod plan for it.

Ok,

Do this.

Post this exact question in the SS forums and lets see the replies.

I'm almost sure I know what their response will be. lol

ZL1 all the way, and I have a 2SS with a ton of upgrades. But of course, I'd mod the heck out of the ZL1 too...
