Catch Can question
So, if you collect much oil, prior to an oil change, does anyone 're-purpose' or pour the oil from the catch can back into the engine? or do you top off the engine with an equal amount of fresh oil of what was trapped in the catch can?
Or, does it even matter? |

Does not matter. You're not going to get that much that it would make much of a difference.

If you had two catch cans, would you catch twice as much? What about three for that matter. If you catch enough, could you sell it back to the oil companies? I think three could be the magic number....but its just a guess.

Don't pour that crap back into the crankcase! There's all kinds of crud in there(including, but not limited to, acids). It's "blowby".
I'm not going to educate you on it, look it up. |

just dump it out when you change your oil. Your only going to get a few oz. Dont put it back in the engine.
