True but Ford MUST come out with the new Mustang in 2014 because of the anniversary, they have no choice.

So let me get this straight...

ROUND 1: Dodge Charger
then...
ROUND 2: Dodge Challenger
and now...
ROUND 3: "Company" Barracuda

Is it just me or does it seem like Dodge is trying too hard... maybe because none of the previous cars have been that great of a success in the new age muscle car market like the Camaro and Mustang Just a thought.

How have they not been successes? the Charger has sold over 100k a years a few years, the Challenger was only targeted to sell 25-30k a year and is running around 30k a year. The 'Cuda should have no trouble meeting their goals whatever they are for it (I would guess 40-50k a year).

About half of the Chargers sales are fleet vehicles to law enforcement, local, state, and federal governments and large corporations.

And from I read on the targeted audience for the Baracuda, the sales goal would be smaller then the Challenger, around 15-20k a year.

I think a Cuda would sell very well. Especially if they price it down more twards the camaro and mustang area. Challengers start higher if im not mistaken.

The V6s are roughly around the price of a 5.0 or SS, the R/T slightly more, but the SRT8 is just about $50K with taxes, title, tags. A Cuda that had the top of the line model around 31-33K would probably sell pretty well. Still, they should just stick with the Challenger and let the Cuda name rest in peace.

Historically the Cuda has always been priced higher then the Challenger so imo IF the Cude comes out it will be priced higher then the Challenger, not cheaper.

There is not reason they have to price it higher. Especially if it REPLACES the challenger.

It's hardly 50%, but look at this way, the only true competitor from GM, the Caprice, is 100% fleet sales.........

Where did you hear a sales target? they have said NOTHING about one yet and have not even mentioned the Cuda offically PERIOD yet, let alone anounced sales goals.......

errrrp, wrong..........

V6 is around 25, R/T is less than 31k (over 1k cheaper than a 1SS), and the SRT8 is around 45k.

Historically the Cuda and Challenger were only sold side by side for around 5 years. Pricing should have been similar, if the SMALLER CUDA not actually being CHEAPER.

From what I heard it may just be called SRT Barracuda.
