Who has one and what kind of power you pushing. I want to go big and i want to know who has done something real big with it. 1500, 1750, 2000hp. What is your opinion of it. Thanks

Impressive engine to go big but what is the advantage over a traditional style Big Block? I would assume if your going for all out power then it's not a street car so personally I'd be going for the most cubic inches I could afford. And I'd be looking for Aluminum and as much weight reduction as possible, but that's just me. Maybe tell us a bit more about your end goals and yes Yellow Bullet is for the more hardcore kind of guys.

I know what you mean on cubic inches. But im not building a Big block for my fifth gen. I was just wondering who has used the dart compared to the lsx ,erl, or rhs block. Im going to go 427-434 twin turbo. Just wanted to see if anyone here is using one thats all. I am aware of yellow bullet.

The "dart next" block is a LS replacement, not a big block. From what I have read and seen at SEMA it has some good features. The downside is it needs special oil pan and other stuff that can be a pain to source.
You will find more info on yellow bullet as suggested

The block will work no problem. For your goal above it looks like a twin 88mm build. For the modifications needed it will be a nice $100k+ build.

See no real advantage to RHS or other blocks. LSX blocks work fine. There have been a few 800-1200 LSX next blocks done, but haven't seen any 2000+ yet like the RHS/LSX stuff.

A buddy of mine is using one in his TBSS build. I think the machine work is all done, just waiting on assembly.
I think he's shooting for 1000+ rwhp on E85 with a YSI. Should be done in the next month or two I believe. |
