Mud Etched Paint?

So the other day It had rained and i noticed I had gotten mud on my car (obviously not that big of a deal. I even joked about it.) I wasn't in a hurry to wash my car.

Today it was beautiful weather, so I washed it and low and behold- there are etch marks on my taillight tint and my back bumper in the spots where there was mud. There's so many of them! It's hard to see in the pic...

I tried claybar, and it did absolutely nothing. Any other suggestions?

I had hard water spots from a sprinkler system at a hotel. I used my porter cable and Adams, haze and swirl remover, then polish and wax. I would give that a try or something of similar product, should buff out.

Yeah i have those too, but I'm doing paint correction this summer. I can feel the etching on my taillight tint, which is okay because it gives me an excuse to get darker. But my bumper kind of upsets me

Gosh!!! That sucks....I have had sand on my back bumper before after driving in rain and luckily I rinsed it off each time because I didn't want it baking in the sun the next day. Good thing I have done this. It looks like you will need to polish out that bumper.
