Waiting until next year sucks but i hear these recaros come from a mine in South Africa. Like diamonds, they are rare.

There's another thread in the general Camaro section that's almost a copy of this one. Everybody is hoping for a group buy and are still waiting on the cost.

Lol they are actually made in Auburn Hills, MI at the Recaro plant. Made by hand. I just saw them last week making them and a photoshoot. Recaro is owned by Johnson Controls. (my employer)

I doubt they will be available at all.
Even the standard 2010-2013 seats are not available whole after some digging.

I will keep an eye on the system for updates.
Everyone keep your hopes up and maybe GM will let this happen.

From the research I have done the only way to receive the Recaro seat in a complete form will be if you have them in your vehicle allready and there is a warranty issue.....I would still somehow like to obtain them !

Gee, I think something is wrong. I ordered a new Zl1 last week and the sales person tells me recaro powerseats are Not an option. There is no RPO code for
power recaro seats on my build sheet at all. what is the RPO code that you have
for this option?. OR did u get them to be power through some after market option?.

I doubt they save any weight since they are full power and almost the same frame as the regular seat. If you look at the diagram of the seat earlier in this post they are just a more aggressive bolstered seat with an integrated head rest.
