Adding SS stripes

Does anyone have any good suppliers and/or advice on where to get these stripes at? (search didn't help) I found some at: http://www.rjwmotorsports.com/p/2014...racing-stripes but I'm not sure how good they are.

Also how difficult is this install? Should I find a shop to do it?

Thanks,
mikebaby

I would have a shop install them. Sometimes it is best to let a professional to the job correctly.

I personally wish mine did not have them - I'd have rather they'd have been painted on as part of the paint scheme itself. I don't look forward to many years down the line when they begin to show their age. That said, I too would definitely recommend having a shop that specializes in this do the install.

I never installed stripes before in my life and I did ns-1 on the hood roof and trunk. With wet application you can move it freely for about 10 minutes to get the perfect spot and then put down.

those are called rally stripes. Have a pro install them or better yet have them painted on

I got my stripes from promotorsports couple of years ago. Put them on myself with a friend using the wet application. Still looks great after two years.

I just replaced my stripes. I got the vinyl from MoProAuto: http://www.moproauto.net

Ended up with the Matte Black 3M kit which I had a professional vinyl installation group apply. There are some great videos on YouTube about how to apply them which were helpful in getting rid of the bubbles or fingers created when the vinyl wraps over the curves of the hood.

Check out the coupon thread for a discount: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=moproauto

I never installed mine. Pm if you're interested in purchasing. They are just sitting in a box.

Mine came with it dealer installed. It shows $460 as additional option. $400 sounds a bit high, just $60 less than what a dealer charges.
