2019 SS on the way!

On December 31st I signed on the dotted line. I'm trading in my 2016 2SS, which I've had for just a year, for a nearly identically speced 2019 2SS.

10 speed auto, white, black center stripe, red leather, dual mode exhaust, sunroof, magnetic ride control.

I'm not fond of the new front, but I do kind of like the flowtie, so I'm getting the black bar either vinyl wrapped or painted white.

I'm planning to get xpel or suntek wrap over the entire car, so I won't have to worry about paint scuffs from cones when autocrossing, and less worry about rock chips on the highways in the spring, from all the grit/gravel they put on the roads here in the winter.

My salesman went on vacation right after I ordered, so I'm waiting till he's back to find out... well whatever he can tell me about it's arrival date. I've never ordered a car before, so I have no idea really how this works, from this point on.

Congrats!

You'll love the 2019 2SS.

Once your sales guy is back, ask them for the WorkBench Order Number.

This is usually a 6 character number that you can post in the Order tracking thread, and Becky can provide you updates/status codes on were your order is!

You're in for a long painful wait, but it's totally worth it!

Congrats on the new ride.

I'm not a big fan of the refresh front end but the vinyl rap on the front section should help

Ah Canada is a whole different ball game. Becky can only track US orders I'm afraid......

Wait is likely at minimum 3 months.

You're right, it's not. Especially as I speced the 2019 almost identically. 😂

The main reason is that I wanted a new car, not just a new-to-me car. The 2016 was purchased fully intending it to be a long-term test drive. 😁If I liked it, I'd get a brand new one. If I didn't, I'd buy something else.

The 2016 has like ~40k kms on it from the previous owner, most of which was likely highway commuting. There are a lot of tiny rock chips all over the front end. I'm wrapping my 2019 in PPF of some sort to avoid exactly that. I want it pristine.

Congrats on your new purchase. I also ordered a 2019 White ZL1 back in Nov 2018 and I am told to not expect it until Mar/April 2019. The reason is that where I live, Ottawa, there is a restriction for delivering the car due to the summer tires which cannot endure our winter weather. Worth the wait for sure.

Congratulations! I tried so hard to get a ZL1, but with the markups, availability, and standard financing, I just couldn't make it work. Honestly, it was mostly for the front end 🤣not even the performance.

I received my 2019 2SS 1LE delivered to Vancouver BC from Alberta I believe, I had to wait anxiously about 4.5 weeks...I owned a 2010 1LT from new and I cannot believe the difference in the 1LE suspension

I also could only find 3 1LE's in Canada.....I had to act fast to call it mine!
