Have i mentioned car show in Rose Hill this Saturday? Registration at 9. I will have mine in the show even though i know i wont win but i also don't care i just like to put my car in the shows to show it off even being bone stock. I do have plans on the JBA mid pipe and Pypes cat-back once i have about 1200 bucks to spare (hopefully in a few months).

Sweet! One of these days I'll finally post some pics now that I've got my Heritage Grill and my black vinyl and '69 era SS and Camaro Emblems on the car. I'm hoping to get an exhaust on the car at some point in the not-too-distant future as well. One of these days, I'd love to meet you guys and cruise with some fellow C5ers.

I was going to enter mine into the Rose Hill Fall fest since im only about 3 miles down the road but... I won't have the time to do a 14hr full fledged Detailing on the car, so Im probably not entering.

I didn't get my full day detailed either...but i am still entering it into the show its not 100% what i would of liked to have for a car show but its like 85% to 90% there so what the heck beside i know i wont win at it i just do it to show it off lol that and my uncle loves seeing my car next to his rebuilt Challenger. Got to love old school muscle next to new school lol

Another great event going on next Saturday the 16th is a fundraiser and charity carshow in the Kansas City area. It is being held to support our close friend Dorian who was injured in a dune buggy accident back in May. Its going to be a great event with a great turn out. Here is some info on the website:

The Drive to Survive event will include a car and motorcycle show, food, t-shirts, silent auction, a raffle, door prizes and at Dorian‘s request, a seat belt safety awareness program. Our goal is to raise as much as we can to help out Dorian, so any vehicle can be registered for the show. Silent auction items that don't get bids the day of the event will be available for purchase online afterwards.

Donated auction and raffle items include over $5,000+ worth of products and gift certificates from Edelbrock, Aeromotive, Airaid, Hurst Shifters, Green Filters, Chux Trux, Holley, NOS, Professional Products, MSD Ignition, Painless, B&M, ProMotorsports, Amini's, AMC Theatres, Zio's, local restaurants and more! The Drive To Survive is scheduled for:

Sounds like there a few of us going... We are planning to meet up at the Ace Hardware parking lot on Douglas & Hillside around noon and heading to WSU about 12:30 - 12:45 from there.

To my knowledge I'm the only white SS in town. Of course, there was a guy running around in a white SS with IOM Stripes last summer, but I think he's either deployed now or PCS'd away because I haven't seen him since.

Mine's SW with flat black hood spears, heritage grill, flat black tail panel, and '69 vintage SS emblems. I work out of a building on the north side of the airfield on Ft. Riley, but I do cruise through Junction pretty often.
