Well now I know how much my next major mod is going to cost. Go LF3 for LLT pistons lol.

I'm debating whether the cams are worth adding to the build and is there if any worth to the exhaust valves ( it was stated that the valves were the same size LFX:LF3, right?). I'm going to run out of fuel sooner or later so there is only so much that can be done before that happens.

Side note: it's interesting how each cam is a different price.

Well I figured I might as well start out with some of the easy stuff... I just ordered the TB harness, and TB, as well as one LF3 exhaust valve and 1 LFX exhaust valve so I can compare/weigh them.

There's so much to try... I wonder if you need the LF3 cams to run the LF3 HPFP?

I seriously doubt it, however there was some discussion a while back about the possibility of making the HPFP lobe on the cam bigger (on aftermarket cams) to make it push more fuel? Perhaps gretchen will chime in about that?

Yes that's possible zz preforamance was going to build me one but cost was to high for one grinded. Fuel plate a better option.

How about this, do you have a diagram to compare the LF3 and LFX cams, so as to see if there is a difference for the HPFP? That alone could solve some fueling issues... outside of just replacing the HPFP of course.

We haven't ordered the exhaust cams yet. All the diagrams I have seen do not show how many lobes there are to drive the hpfp, which is what I thought might be the change. I will be at gpi tomorrow and order them and the hpfp. I probably won't try to install them before cfest, but I can compare them to the lfx cams. I can also ger them on a cam wheel.

Yeah. I'm not sure how long it will take to get them, though.
