Has Anyone Bought the LG Motorsports Long Tubes?

As stated, has anyone tried them. I havent seen anyone with them, please let me know because they claim 427rwhp from their system. I just ordered my Borla sport cat back, and the next thing will probably be long tubes.

So That's around 70 hp they claim with headers alone?

I just put them on this weekend. I bought the entire long tube and exhaust kit. I haven't put it on a dyno yet so I don't know what the numbers are. I can tell you that they sound amazing!!. The only down side is the passenger side header was hitting the frame rail so you will have to do some modifications. They have it down on the vettes but I think they have to work out some kinks on the Camaros.

Eh....depends on who you know and talk to... I think that alot of people mistakenly get turned off by LG since there aren't many LG dealers willing to sell instead of be greeded. Just sell the product, don't bastardize it, and keep everyone happy. It's not that hard, but there are those who still intend on selling it $5 under Retail.

Agreed, they are not Doug Thorley or Pacesetter budgeted, but they are indeed a step above the Kooks and that, to me, speaks volumes.

I like the Kooks....I LOVE the LGs. Just my opinion though.

Nice pics again OP!!

thanks for the reply. I heard arh headers are better with HP gains then kooks. But these LG headers from their results seem to get the best results.

Don't believe the hype. All headers made from high quality stainless steel will give you similar performance gains and durability. These claims of one brand being vastly superior to another are just marketing hype. Do your research and find which set is on sale that week and enjoy.

^^ Agreed. Do your research and stick to your budget. I had AR on my GTO and they are great headers. I can tell you that the LG quality is right up there with AR. I'll try and get a video for you guys.

I didn't want tubes resting against the brace so I just put the bolts back in and took off the brace.

His point was that the tunnel brace does serve a purpose. It's for structural regidity that spans across the tunnel. You may look at the piece off the car and figure it's flimsy and couldn't do anything. Bolt it up the to car and you can hang off it. It gives lateral support so it doesn't need to be massively thick.
