Question 2010 RS LT in need of specs for new wheels

I have a 2010 RS LT Camaro. I have the RS wheels obviously. I am buying wheels right now (literally this second) and we are discussing the specs of the wheels that I am going to get. I have read that I am suppose to go with
20x9 fronts
20x10 rears
Is that correct?

Also, for offsets, I am lowered 1.5" inches approximately. Some have told me to go +35mm all around, some say +20mm in the front, some say much differently. You guys confuse me. What do I get??

thanks for the help guys/girls!
Niko

Don't worry homeslice. I gotcha . Read this thread from front to back. The guys from speed depot know their stuff well. The rear offset will be +35 for the 20x10 Nurburgring and that will be plenty and sit well, and allow a relatively large width tire in the back. Now, the front comes in +20 or +35 for the 20x9 wheel. Speed depot says they recommend a 20 mm offset, and state that a 275 tire in the front can be used without it sticking out at all. Then again, you are lowered and so am I. So, contact them and see what they recommend for being as low as you are. The fronts at a 20mm offset may be perfect. Then again, with a really low car, a 35mm offset in the front may be a safer bet. See if you can get ahold of Speed Depot and let them know you are lowered 1.5".

It might help if you post what tires you plan on going with since tires will also determine if they fit or not. I know a 20x9 and 20x10 configuration will work.

What wheels are they? Maybe someone around here has gotten them before?

Hahaha, thanks man. Stick with what speed depot says and go with the 20x9 front with 20mm offset, and for the rear 20x10 with a 35 offset and you'll likely be just fine. Call them just in case, and it'll put your mind at ease. If you are worried about the front offset, and think you may need the extra clearance that a 35 offset provides, at least speed depot will let you know.

Haha, I don't mind at all man! You can always let me know if you need anymore info. Congratulations! You just bought an incredibly lightweight and great looking wheel without spending a fortune . These wheels are the perfect compromise between looks and performance. It's a huge purchase and enjoy the hell out of them. He sure to post up pictures as soon as you get them, and also when they are installed. Woohoo!

You'll love them no matter what. The gloss black in powdercoat is stunning. It shines like nothing else, and on a black car, it will be just that much more spectacular.
