Delivery ZL1 1LE
Dealer got our car in yesterday afternoon. Told him don't wash it, don't fuel it, don't drive it, don't take any plastic/wrappings off. Just leave it alone and see you in the morning!
Well today we picked it up, dirty, dusty, fresh off the truck and train. 75mph speed limit back to the shop...fun times. Summit White w/ PDR, nav, mats. Good times ahead. Already tinted the windows 15%. Sorry for the bad pics, two are from the dealer and one is my kid in the dark. |

Amazing car. Congrats. Enjoy!
FWIW, I did the same. It took me almost 3 days to get the paint, aluminum and glass corrected. A labor of love. I got to know every inch of her body and undercarriage.

Hey does anyone know if your manual is supposed to come with a cover/booklet jacket? Maybe since I told the dealer to skip touching it I didn't get some things...never had a vehicle not have a pouch.
No rear floor mats for back seat. Window sticker says premium floor mats but boy the fronts are chintzy. No book cover for manual. If you know of anything else I should double check please let me know. The trunk has the front plate bracket (which will be in the garbage soon), fuel nozzle, and the air inflation kit, along with the rubber trunk mat. |

Really the primary thing I wanted to prevent was paint damage. I've found a lot of swirl marks, buffer pad damage on trim pieces, etc. during my new vehicle deliveries...some of which drove me crazy the entire time I owned the car. So if I'm buying new, I'm not having the "detailers" at the dealership touch them! Probably overkill to most, but for some reason it drives me crazy the lack of expertise/care involved sometimes. The car should be in equal or greater condition than it left the factory...not worse. And of course I didn't want some young kid driving it to get fuel, abusing my baby, scraping my front end, etc... |

if they didn't do anything, I bet they didn't take the spring spacers out either, better check that! (do ZLE have the shipping spacers like ZL1?)
