No but I may cancel it...........just wanted it because it supposed to fit like a glove. ONE advantage of all the waiting I guess is that we will know what NOT to get or DO to make our purchase with more insight.

Try putting some water on it and see if it permeates easily. If it does not then its doing it's job. These days most car covers are light weight and thin because of the newer materials they are made of. You also want something that can breathe a little to let the moisture out, remember it's main function is to keep dust and the suns UV rays off.

Also, if you look at the cover, it fits perfectly and has spots for the mirrors and the sharkfin. I am not saying to buy it or not, just saying. |

id imagine california car cover will come out with one soon. i had an SRT-4 and i emailed them and told them i took the gay wing off and they made it specific for my car no area for a wing. fit like a glove just had to take the antenna off. it was soft as hell and let no water in... but FYI dont put it on in the winter and expect to take it off when its 10 degrees out. it will freeze to the car but i would imagine it would do that no matter what cover it is.
i loved my cali car cover and i actually still have it even though i sould my car over 3 years ago. i used it to cover my bike i had.

I have the gray one. If you look at the price of other custom fit car covers its not too ridiculously priced.
The fabric feels a lot like my Gore-Tex Jacket. I haven't tried pouring water on it though. The racing stripes are probably the best part, IMO.

Shedding water is nice...but to me the side that's touching the paint is more important.
Sounds like another Cali car cover is in order. |

California Car Cover already has them available in about eight different flavors. I will place an order for one when I get a production date. Still sitting at 3000. I will probably get the Dust Top since the Camaro will stay in the garage. I have both a Noah and a Plush Weave for my Impala SS from this company and quality and fit is excellent.

I was able to contact the OEM car cover supplier last year and request a sample of the fabric. That made me decide to wait for a different material to become available in the aftermarket. It's not that the fabric is bad, it's just not what I was wanting for my application.

The cover is primarily a cover for dust.
I spoke to a dealer yesterday, and was told that is what that type of cover is intended for. Yes, there are more types of covers, with higher costs associated, but how many people would have spent the money for one? |

Logos are nice..but not worth extra cost. I'll get a cheaper AM that provides better protection..
