I wish they surprise surprise us with a dual clutch transmission. That coupled with launch control and the GT500 would be in trouble.

There's no way on Earth I could come close to matching the tech the new ZL1 contains.

...yup Scarrzz,....I see it the same way, it's a no brainer..a turn key torque monster with 100K warranty that will blow your mind every which way but loose....it's this 'ol Chevy Camaro motor heads dream come true that I have been waiting for seemingly forever. Comfort, looks, handling, performance up the wazooo. And I feel nothing in any resto mod form could be in the same class for any amount of money. It's the complete package...as is. I've spent countless hours and dollars doing that sort of thing over the years and can't believe I have been able to see technology reach this point where it wasn't even fathomable decades ago. It's the new golden age of high performance available directly from the factory. It's almost magical.

As many as will be purchased. They'll make them as long as they sell.

GM won't artificially restrict the number of ZL1's built. They haven't said anything about pricing, but expect it to be priced comparably to the GT500 (around $50,000)

I'm seriously doubting anything over 570.

Rampant speculation, but enjoyable to consider.

I hope your birdy is reliable. That would fall under the "I'm officially astounded" umbrella, as has been previously spoken of. It is however, entirely possible.

I think we're going to see it somewhere between 570 & 590. I won't be disapointed if its 'only' 568 but based on what we've heard about the ZL1, I expect at least 570.

Either way, it looks like you're still the 3rd person in the chain.

btw, 20% loss sounds pretty high, even for an automatic. 13-14% for manuals & 17-18% for auto's seem to be about the norm these days.
