This would really suck of cars that were supposed to be built a week ago have to wait until the middle of May to be put together.

I may just have really bad luck.

First it was the V6 constraint, then it was CGM, and now it's an issue with the V6 M6. The only thing left is for there to be a problem with the RS package....

My dealer told me 2 weeks ago tentative TPW of 5/18 for my 2LT. Last week he told me this TPW is 'firm'. No mention of any delays on the M6, but have seen that info elsewhere.

Looks like TPWs hae been pushed back again. i called my dealer but they were closed, left a message so he shoukld get back to me tommorow about my TPW< probably bad news anyways.
So V6 manual people, check your TPWs again, i think its now June 1st, who knows it will probably get pushed back again too.

Don't mind the wait, just more $$ to put down on it.
Trying to get an idea how long it might take.

Drove one yesterday, still have a perma grin.

All depends on the allocations for the dealer. Potentially you could have it in June. Realistically it will probably be around August like you said.

So my dealer heard back from the plant contact.

He was told the V6 MANUAL transmissions will be available for builds starting JUNE 1st.

He hopes they keep the original order of builds, that puts me up front.

This is bullshit. They just keep pushing it back. I may just try to get a lot car V6 auto.

Just contacted my dealer. This is what he told me. For what it is worth ...

Tim,
I just called GM they still have the target production week of May 18. There are no issues with the V6 and the 6 speed manual.
I will still contact you next week.

I'm in no hurry to get mine. I'm still sitting at 1100 and expect to be there for a while since I only placed my order 2 weeks ago.

I just hope they make the transmission as bullet proof as possible before they build mine. I don't want to be in the shop all that often with my Camaro.
