I would like to add I swapped out the 10 kg rear springs for 9 kg rear springs in my Pedders XAs. (10kg springs come stock in the coilovers)
The 9 kg springs provided a smoother ride. It's not a huge difference, but it's noticeable. The 9kg rear springs can be purchased for $115 from Pedders for guys looking for a little smoother ride in the XA coils. |

Going to track my car this weekend. If I remember correctly, it was suggested to try 15f/15r. Those that have been on a road course....what have you used.

on my BC's I ran 20 front and 27 rear at the last road race and autocross event I did. I had read to softer in the front to get the front end to dive into the corner and turn better. I liked the set up and got really good times on road course and autocross. Good luck wiht your event.

What i was trying to get at was what's optimal for these cars for daily driving where ur not just going in a straight line like drag racing??? I currently have them 14f/12r and it feels good. I mean what happens around a fast curve to the car when u have it stiffer up front like me and vice versa???? I dont know if im explaining myself correctly. Lol

The rule of thumb is "stiff slides first"... there's a really easy way to remember that, which we won't go into here.
So all else being equal, the more biased you are toward front spring rate the more under-steer you are dialing in. And vice-versa... the more biased you are toward rearward spring rate the more over-steer you will get. |

I run real soft for daily driving 3 front 2 rear, I ran on the dragstrip 0 front 30 rear, my best time so far, 12.435@111.89 1.851 60'. On street tires, Bolt ons, tune and Pedders Suspension.

We prefer a very stiff setting on the track, with the front at least 5 softer than the rear. As cterry recommended, 20 front 27 rear is a great setting. Fortunately with the ease of adjustment, you can play around and see what your prefer. Everyone still love their BC Racing Coilovers? We haven't heard of any complaints from the Camaro community. All our customers that run them on the 04-06 Pontiac GTO's which are now getting way up there in miles (120k+) swear by the BCs. These are not promoted as heavily as other coilovers, but haven't seen any indication of any lesser performance, especially not at double the price point. |

I will say that someone had a '12 (I'm sure '13 is the same) with the BC and cut the wholes in the rear. For some reason GM changed the trunk some and there are now some raised sections right where the whole goes. That makes it near impossible to adjust with your fingers. You pretty much have to use the adjustment extenders.

Hope I didn't miss the answer in the posts above here...
What about the front swaybar setting? Current setup: Pedders supercar w/ ZL1 Sway Package (FE4 conversion) on a 2010. Occasionally on the drag strip and race tracks (AutoX), other than that it's a daily driver, with loads of high speed runs (Germany/Autobahn) and very spirited driving... I'm good with testing the supercar settings myself but I would like to know what front sway setting is recommended and why. Soft seems to be golden as far as I've seen....
